Chrissy Naruo
VOCALS
Chrissy has had the pleasure of performing professionally ever since she was a child. Her most recent experience includes Walt Disney World Entertainment, Norwegian Cruise Lines, RENT 20th Anniversary National Tour, and Universal Studios Japan. Chrissy is happy to return home where she currently sings with Island Kings Band and is ready to burn it down with Stompin’ Thunder!


With 40 years of industry experience under his belt, Alan is an established industry veteran. Hailing from Santa Barbara and graduating from the Grove School of Music, he is a former Atlantic Records recording artist (Rat Bat Blue) and has recorded and/or performed with Mick Fleetwood & Kiefer Sutherland, Colin Hay (Men at Work), Bobby Womack, Rickie Lee Jones, and Mozella. In addition, he has composed for television shows such as The Gilmore Girls, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and had a featured song on Dee Snider’s Rock & Roll Christmas Tale (“You’re Just a Punk Who Can Sing”). Finally, he is the co-creator/writer of “Bandage!” the rock opera, optioned for film starring Dee Snider. Outside of music, Alan is an avid surfer and enjoys taking full advantage of Hawaii’s amazing waves.

Mark Primeaux
VOCALS / GUITAR
With 20 years of professional music experience, Mark brings a unique blend of versatility and excitement to the stage. Growing up in the rich musical culture of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, he began performing at a young age with his three brothers before pursuing vocal music studies at Louisiana State University. To this day, he continues to collaborate with his brothers on original music. He has performed alongside renowned Baton Rouge pianist Michael McDowell, and has toured and recorded with the award-winning Louisiana-based band Beaucoup Boogie. Mark has also recorded and performed as the drummer for folk artist Zach Morgan, including on his latest record Take Me Home. Currently, he performs with the Oahu-based group Island Kings as well as with several other Hawaii acts. Mark served with the 111th Army Band and has toured, recorded, and appeared as a soloist with acclaimed vocal ensembles including Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble, Early Music Hawaii, and the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra Chorus. In addition to his extensive performance career, Mark is a dedicated educator with 15 years of classroom and private teaching experience. When he’s not performing, Mark enjoys surfing, running, mountain biking, and spending time with friends and family on this beautiful island.


Representing Waimea right here in Hawaii, Cullen has been playing drums for 24 years. He has worked as a musician throughout the island chain with artists such as Kala’e Parish, Kimie, and abroad with PopRocks!. Across six MWR tours (Morale, Welfare, Recreation – military organization), he has played in Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Jordan, Belgium, Germany, and England. Notable performances include opening for Leann Rimes, Billy Currington, Henry Kapono and performing at Hawaii’s own Na Hoku Hanohano Awards Ceremony twice. Additionally, he has performed twice at Hawaii’s newest country music festival, Boots ‘N Beers. When not playing music, he enjoys reading, surfing, and golfing.

Paul Kalikohou Nelson is a musician, music director, and producer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As an instrumentalist, he performs with a variety of artists - from local favorites Kimié Miner and Kala’e Parish to standout rockers Kings of Spade and the jazz fusion powerhouse Subtonic Orchestra, lead by DeShannon Higa. Paul currently focuses his creative efforts on Seven Suns - a band of likeminded musicians with the mission of translating their experiences in Oceania into original music.



Originally a St. Louis, MO native, Aaron (together with his wife, Nicolle) is the music director and producer for Stompin’ Thunder. Aaron has played guitar for 26 years, and--by way of the US Air Force Band and the Los Angeles music scene--worked as a musician since 2008. Performance credits include artists such as Eddie Money, Annie Bosko, Josh Gracin, the Morgan Leigh Band, and Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck). Notable performances/tours include opening for Jelly Roll, Stagecoach Country Music Festival (2024 & 2025), Billboard Live Artist Spotlight w/Annie Bosko, and a support tour w/Dwight Yoakam. In the US Air Force Band, he toured in Australia, Kuwait, Singapore, American Samoa, Japan, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic to name a few. Music direction and/or tour management credits include Josh Gracin, Annie Bosko, US Air Force Band, Twisted Gypsy, & BeeGees Fever USA. Behind the scenes, Aaron has produced/engineered for a wide variety of artists/projects including the score for “Hae Hawaii” (2019, short film directed by Ty Sanga) and the “Pasko from Hawaii” TV special (aired Christmas 2023 on KHON2). When not on stage or in the studio, Aaron enjoys running and spending time with his wife at their home in east Oahu.
